Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Fountain Discord bot, account linking, applications, and cosmetic unlock services.
1. What Fountain Provides
Fountain provides Discord-based role applications, staff review tools, account linking between Discord and in-game Fountain player accounts, and cosmetic entitlement tracking for supported digital unlocks.
Cosmetic unlocks may include custom license plate text, cosmetic clothing access, and cosmetic vehicle access. Cosmetic unlocks are intended for appearance and identity expression only, not gameplay advantage.
2. Eligibility and Discord Rules
You must follow Discord's Terms of Service, Discord Community Guidelines, and all rules set by the Fountain community where the bot is used.
If you use the bot for applications or account linking, you are responsible for giving accurate information and keeping access to your Discord account secure.
3. Account Linking
Account linking connects your Discord account to your Fountain in-game player account. Linking helps staff identify the correct player account for applications, cosmetic unlocks, support, and audit history.
Do not attempt to link another person's account, sell linked accounts, bypass entitlement checks, or use multiple accounts to evade moderation.
4. Applications and Staff Review
The bot may interview applicants for law enforcement, EMS, or other roleplay positions. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, access, rank, or continued access to any role.
Staff may approve, deny, request more information, revoke access, or re-review applications when needed.
5. Cosmetic Purchases and Unlocks
Paid cosmetic unlocks are processed through Discord monetization or another approved payment provider if added later. Fountain does not collect or store full payment card details.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, cosmetic unlocks are permanent account-wide digital unlocks tied to your linked Fountain account. They may be revoked if the related payment is reversed, refunded, fraudulent, or violates these terms.
6. Refunds and Availability
Refund handling follows Discord's refund tools and policies when purchases are made through Discord. Fountain may also revoke access to refunded or reversed unlocks.
Digital services may change, break, be delayed, or become unavailable due to game updates, mod changes, Discord changes, server maintenance, or technical issues.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not abuse the bot, spam commands, exploit bugs, or automate requests without permission.
- Do not impersonate staff, other players, or official services.
- Do not attempt to access private bot data, private account links, entitlement logs, or audit records.
- Do not use cosmetics or account linking to harass, threaten, evade moderation, or disrupt roleplay.
8. Enforcement
Fountain staff may deny applications, revoke linked account access, revoke cosmetic entitlements, restrict bot access, or take moderation action when these terms or community rules are violated.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated as Fountain systems evolve. Continued use of the bot or linked services after an update means you accept the updated terms.
